For Providers
Walters and Associates offers hospitals and other health care providers the highest quality strategic and operationally driven facility planning services.
Our practice brings a depth of experience, providing hands-on solutions to health care providers, from the largest academic medical centers to the smallest Critical Access Hospitals.
Mr. Walters dedicated six rewarding months of his consulting career working with the physicians, clinicians, and executive leadership of world renowned and U.S. News and World Report number one rated The Johns Hopkins Hospital to complete the operational and space planning for their 1.6 million square foot Cardiovascular and Critical Care Tower and Children’s Hospital. These two new buildings and associated renovation projects essentially replace the clinical components of the hospital, resulting in improved operating efficiencies and additional clinical capacity.
We are equally proud of our work with The Butler County Health Care Center (BCHCC), in David City, Nebraska. Mr. Walters worked with this 17 bed Critical Access Hospital, helping to develop a strategic facility master plan that streamlined the hospital’s operations. The “like-new” BCHCC achieved about 95 percent of the operational efficiencies of a replacement hospital at less than half the cost. The multi-phase strategic facility master plan also provided the flexibility to spread investments in multiple, distinct phases, minimizing financial risk to this irreplaceable community resource.
